2013 Toronto – Wandering Part 1

Since it has been a few years since I was actually there, I don’t recall the exact order or dates of when we stopped at these places.  So for now, I am just putting everything that occurred at about the same time in this post.

From what I recall these are some of the early places we visited.  After getting out of the airport and taking a 30 minute shuttle to our condo, we unpacked quick and hit the streets.  Visited a bar with a patio just to unwind and have a beer.  Down the street we stopped at a Jack Astor’s and found Molson Export that we can’t get here in the states.  No pics but around the corner we stopped at the Loose Moose for lunch – cool place and good bar food.  Next we wandered around somewhere southwest of the Queen Street West area and found some excellent grafitti.  Later that night we stopped at the the Tequila Bookworm and the Black Bull Tavern (highly recommend this place) on Queen Street.

Another time we passed by a cool old church, visited Bar Hop Brew Co. for their cask beer, and Bar Volo which had a ridiculous array of small batch craft beers and cask ale.
