Arrived at Yellowstone and the weather was very temperamental – gray skies with rain, then sun, then thunderstorms. Drove almost the entire main circle through the park minus area just west of the southern gate. Saw tons of bison and elk but no bears. Saw Old Faithful and by dumb luck showed up during its eruption. Sights here are better than you can even imagine and photos can’t accurately capture it.
I wish I could spend more time here but they are calling for snow and the drive down the mountain passes is already nerve-racking enough so only making this a day trip. Temps are too cold for camping so heading to Idaho Falls, ID and couchsurfing again.
