Gear: Jackson Karma Traverse 10

From Matt at Jackson Kayak:

The Jackson Karma Traverse 9 & 10 are the latest crossovers from JK that replaces the Rogue. The new design is based off of the Karma platform, but with a stretched and wider platform, making it fast and nimble, yet stable and forgiving.  Just like the regular Karma, the Traverse is predictable and stable, perfect for beginners and experts alike. The retractable skeg makes the Traverse blast through flatwater and boogie water on auto-pilot, allowing you to enjoy the river scenery that much more!

The Traverse is designed for those looking to do some longer self-support trips without sacrificing whitewater performance. It also features a day hatch with pod, a big rear hatch, and a mini recessed YakAttack accessory track next to the cockpit to easily mount fishing or other accessories. An optional implosion-proof “Hard Hat” rear hatch gives added security for long expeditions.

  • Similar design to Karma, but stretched with a rear bulkhead and hatch
  • UniShock Bulkhead with removable foot pegs for bow access
  • Day Hatch with accessory pod
  • YakAttack accessory track
  • Optional hard-hatch
