On the homeward drive from Kohler-Andrae I made a detour to check out the Sheboygan Falls waterfall. This was very easy to access via a short wooden stairway at Falls View Park in the downtown area.

The park is small but gives access to an immediate upstream view of the upper falls in the distance.

At the far end you can get a close look at the lower falls section.

And with a short drive across the bridge to the other side, you can see upstream from below the lower falls.

These falls are neat but too spoiled by urbanization for my tastes. Notably this area is on the National Register of Historic Places as the first Main Street Community in Wisconsin and is home to the Johnsonville Sausage company (Wikipedia).
