Work decided to send me out to Nebraska to help decommission IT gear from the Columbus plant. Left Chicago after being stuck for hours in the terminal thanks to near record low wind chills & temps (-20°F to -50°F ranges), but got in to Omaha and temps went up into the 50’s that week. Funny thing is my boss sent himself to North Carolina thinking it would be warmer and he ended up in ice storms while I was in short sleeves! Picked up some decent beer at Beertopia on the way out and jammed in my suitcase for the trip home.
