It’s been a rainy, snowy, cold day in western Wyoming so far. Not complaining – saw mountains, cool weather and clouds, a double rainbow, and a moose. My body’s gas tank is empty though due to staying up until like 4am last night and I just need some rest. Too cold to camp so grabbed a quick and cheap Motel 6 in Pocatello, Idaho for the night and going to bed early. WiFi speeds aren’t very fast but still much faster than my low LTE signal. All caught up on posts for now, heading to Great Salt Lake tomorrow and then down through Utah from there.

Author’s note: I am revisiting old posts from my 2016 road trip because I posted all of them from my cell phone and some of them are a bit of a mess. Main reason is to properly edit photos rather than just having what came out of my phone camera, and to include higher res photos from my mirrorless camera that never got published. Additionally some of the locations on the Geomap are wrong or often have multiple locations in a single post. OG text should be captured in a summary field when available.

Since I couchsurfed lately and was very tired, to get my sanity back I stayed in a Motel 6 last night. Nothing exciting for everyone else back home, but having fast WiFi is amazing! All caught up on posts for now. Planning to visit the Great Salt Lake, then possibly Fifth Water Spring (by suggestion from Said in Idaho Falls).
