Just a quick stop at Legion Lake for lunch. I’ve been driving most of the morning, time for a break. This post is mainly to put a pin in my geomap tracker thingy.

Here’s a view of the lake without my truck getting in the way. Small but peaceful lake, looks like a great place to swim in summer.

I decided from here just to drive south on SD-87 through the Wind Cave area just to see what I can see (Wind Cave itself is closed this year for elevator repairs which is the only reason I’m not there on this day). Going to head to Hot Springs after that and then decide where to camp.
