Continuing my rainy & cold fall trip, I detoured again for another side quest to visit Wisconsin waterfalls and located Spirit Falls in Tomahawk, WI. Falls are very easy to access – basically park at the nearby bar and walk 2 minutes to the Spirit River. Water is moving quite fast and seems relatively deep so wading through was not an option. I couldn’t get a frontal photo of the falls due to high water from the rains – maybe another time.
Hiking Data
This isn’t really even a hike. Why am I including details here? Just wanted to show that there are some places anyone can access with minimal effort – you don’t have to climb mountains or be an Olympic athlete to enjoy the outdoors.
