Did some more driving around and OHV exploration just for the sake of seeing new things. We’ve always known there are some trails at the Prehistoric Trackways National Monument but never had a vehicle that suited for these kinds of adventures. Long story short that didn’t matter because these trails are a bit confusing on what’s allowed and where they go, and a few of them right off the bat are crazy steep and we aren’t doing those solo today. No matter – the views across the valley to the neighboring Doña Ana, San Augustin, and Organ Mountain ranges are nice to look at.
Another gratuitous truck photo and some clouds and trails in the background. If you look close I think some of those super steep trails are either for bikes or ATVs; no doubt my Taco is a billy goat but these are on different levels. Funny I couldn’t really find much on onX while onsite and we know some of the areas are more restricted after it got National Monument status so not worth risking going places we aren’t supposed to be. No big deal, still had fun, still a good excuse to spend time with my dad.
